Don Peterson

March 5, 2003 Donald Peterson, 70, of Minoa, died Wednesday morning at Crouse Hospital. He was a life resident of Syracuse. He graduated from Eastwood High School and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He retired as a lieutenant from the Syracuse Police De-partment after 30 years.

A son, Gregory died in June 2002. Survivors: his wife of 46 years, Mary Kaiser Peterson; sons and daughter-in-laws, Karl and Jolene of Cicero, James and Susan of Bridgeport, and Donald and Melissa of Lakeland; daughter-in-law, Debra of Bridgeport; brothers, Bruce of North Syracuse and Raymond of Burlington, WI; sister, Ruth Coleman of North Syracuse; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services: 9:15 am Saturday at Russell H. Schepp & Son Funeral Home and 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church. Burial St. Mary's Cemetery.
